Former Nigeria President, Olusegun Obasanjo has broken his silence on the current debacle that has plagued Nigeria; the abduction of over 200 Nigerian school girls from Chibok in Borno State of Nigeria.

According to reports carried by the BBC, Obasanjo in a video interview said President Goodluck Jonathan is “overwhelmed” by the security situation in the north of the country. He went on to say that the President has so far been unable to tackle the Boko Haram militant insurgency. He was speaking from Nairobi, Kenya.
