The United States is going after Boko Haram.
The White House has just announced 80 Marines will be deployed to Chad in the hunt for kidnapped Nigerian girls.
Chad is on Nigeria’s north-eastern border.

CNN’s Washington reporter Athena Jones says Barack Obama has told the Speaker of the House they will be part of the US offer to help find and rescue the more than 200 girls.
“These members of the armed forces are gong to be supporting the operations of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft for the missions that are being flown over northern Nigeria and the surrounding area.”
Intelligence reports suggest the girls may have already been dispersed into smaller groups and crossed borders in the five weeks since the attack.
