The coroner conducting an inquest into the cause of the 2012 Dana Air crash delivered his verdict, Tuesday, with a 9-point recommendation urging governments at all levels to establish effective emergency response units.
Premium News has reported that Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe had said that the coroner’s verdict as to the cause of the air mishap, which claimed over 150 lives, could not be “determined for now” because the Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB, had not concluded investigation as to the cause of the plane crash.
“What the AIB submitted to the inquest was their preliminary report,” Mr. Komolafe added.
