Vine: Have you seen this? Trinidad and Tobago player bows down to Messi before match…

Messi we are not worthy

What do you make of this?

Messi didn’t manage to score in his team’s convincing 3-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago, but Lionel Messi was paid a brilliant tribute, in true Wayne’s World style, by one of the players on the opposing team.

Just before kick-off, posts JOE.ie, as both teams shook hands with each other, Trinidad and Tobago’s Ataullah Guerra showed his admiration for one the game’s greatest ever players, as he appeared to bow down before Messi the maestro.

I don’t think he should have gone that far with that gesture. He could prostrate to Messi for all he cares in the dressing room of course, but not openly, for crying out loud! How on earth do you think he would tackle or take the ball off Messi if he came one on one? Absolutely no chance.
