Snoop is one of my favourite rappers alongside Dr Dre and Eminem. Psy may be the YouTube king, when he exploded on the mainstream with his ‘GANGNAM STYLE’ song which caught, unawares, the imagination of the world.

I must inform you that ‘HANGOVER’ will also capture the imagination of the world, negatively though.

What on earth is this song all about?

Glorifying drinking alcohol to a stupor? and getting a hangover in the process?

This is damn silly and it will go down in my estimation as one of the worst videos and songs Snoop had ever partaken in. It is plain silly and stupid. For crying out loud, these artistes are role models, what message does this song have for my children? Absolutely nothing.  

I  once imagined dancing to ‘Gangnam style’, you sure bet I wouldn’t be caught dancing to ‘Hangover’ in a stupor. If Psy’s management, which incidentally he shares with ‘now bad boy’ Justin Bieber’s Scooter Braun, School Boy Records had calculated Youtube views would go through the roof, well, in 24 hours, they have managed 3,365,001 views. A long way to go to catch up with Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ which amassed a whopping  2,009,509,019 views at Monday, 9th June 2014.

 Unfortunately I have to provide you with the video in order for you to appreciate my thoughts. If you notice, the image above, captured from the video below stopped at 2:17 mins. That was for the simple reason that I couldn’t endure beyond this segment. No way would I watch ‘Hangover’ to the end.  What a disappointment. What an anti-climax, watching a collaboration between East and West go so spear shaped.
