VIDEO: Could this animated Nike advert for World Cup 2014 with Rooney, Ronaldo and Neymar be the best ever? You Decide!

The World Cup fever is definitely on. Ads by top brands featuring the some of the most talented footballers on the planet are competing. Very soon, Oscars would carve out a category dedicated to selecting the best Ads.

The latest Nike advert for World cup features Rooney, Ronaldo and Neymar. In the short animated film – very much like the Incredibles – an evil scientist clones the World’s best footballers to get rid of all risk from the game.

As the game becomes more and more boring Brazilian Ronaldo collects the former stars and reassembles the team of stars to play the clones.

The new Nike ad animated film is some serious competition to the best World Cup ads around this year.

There’s the star-studded Nike advert, the atmospheric Beats by Dre and the cool McDonalds offering – you can watch all three below. Plus an emotional advert for a Chilean bank featuring the miners, and three classic World Cup commercials.

The ad begins with a nefarious scientist unveiling cloned versions of the best players alive. The clones – unlike their human counterparts – take no risks which supposedly makes them better players.

We see Neymar as a hairdresser…

Cristiano Ronaldo is employed as a showroom dummy…

And Wayne Rooney as a fisherman (?)

Andres Iniesta seems to have the best deal though…

Fortunately for football, former Brazilian striker Ronaldo sets out on a Magnificent Seven-style mission to save the sport by assembling the players and training them for a showdown against the risk-averse clones in Brazil.

What happens next?
