Ball in the net. Nigeria scores

Peter Odemwingie celebrates

Osaze thanks God.
Peter Odemwingie was forgiven by Stephen Keshi and he repaid with a Goal. In a match that required only a win to have any chance of progressing to the next round, within the first five minutes, it was evident that Nigeria’s SuperEagles were desperate to SOAR. and soar they did in a match that had the weather to negotiate with. High humidity and temperature slowed the pace of the game. It was a blessing Emenike laid a beautiful ball to Osaze who sent it through the legs of the Bosnia keeper.
It was nerve racking for every nigerian fan. It is definitely a relief for the African Champions who redeemed their reputation after an abysmal performance against the heroic Iranian team.
Prrsident Goodluck watched the game and I am sure it wasn’t his luck that gave the Super Eagles its first world cup victory in 16 years.
