EbolaLagos state government releases emergency response numbers for Ebola disease.

Following its confirmation of the first possible case of Ebola disease in Nigeria, according to reports monitored in Health News, Lagos state government has released numbers that members of the public can call to report suspected cases of the disease.

According to the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Public Health, Dr Yewande Adeshina, Lagos state residents should call any of the following numbers:





She warned residents to “keep personal and environmental hygiene” and urged those who notice “strange feeling or symptoms similar to those of Ebola virus, which ranges from fever, headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, sore throat and joint pains, which are all symptoms of other ailments, to visit competent health facilities”.
