Six-year-old girl, Bolutito Shodipe (pictured above) has died after she was hit by a car being driven by her mother, police said.
The girl was fatally hurt in the collision as her mother was parking outside Hounslow West Tube station this morning, according to detectives.
Paramedics battled to save Bolutito Shodipe who was hit after getting out of the car before her mother attempted to park in an NCP bay next to Hounslow West Tube station in south-west London.
Officers from the Met police, as well as London Ambulance Service medics, tried to resuscitate her at the scene, but she was later pronounced dead at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. She went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
“It is clear that both mother and child arrived together in the car park and the accident occurred during a parking manoeuvre.”
The girl’s family, who are believed to be from Hayes in west London, are being offered support from police.

Two police officers were playing with a younger child, maybe three or four years olf. They came and sat by the child and were playing with a little ball to distract her.
“A lady was shouting and waving her hands about. She was very upset.
“Police told everyone to get out of the car park. There were quite a few people standing around by that time.”
An air ambulance landed in the grounds of the car park but Bolutito was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, in Paddington, by a road ambulance.
One woman, who did not want to be named, said: “No one knew what happened at the start. But when we found out from the police it was horrible. I feel terrible for the lady.”
BTP Detective Chief Inspector Iain Miller said: “Shortly before 9.40am on Wednesday we were called to Hounslow West London Underground station following reports of a serious collision in the car park.
Bolutito’s younger sibling was cared for by police at the scene as medics battled to save her life. The ballet-loving child’s devastated family today paid tribute to their “beautiful girl”.
The family, who live in Hayes in west London, said: “Bolutito was our eldest daughter and no-one could have asked for a better daughter. “She was a beautiful, well behaved, girl who loved ballet and who will be sorely missed by all of us. “This is an extremely upsetting time for us and we ask that we be given the respect and space to grieve and to come to terms with this terrible accident.”

“Specialist officers are now providing full support to the girl’s family whilst detectives are working to determine exactly how the incident occurred,” DCI Miller said.
It is believed the incident is being treated as an accident.
British Transport Police confirmed the girl’s mother has not been arrested.
Witnesses told the Standard that the girl’s distressed mother was “waving her hands around” and “shouting” after the accident at 9.40am.
Street cleaner Mohan Kumar Rai, 54, said: “I arrived just after 9.45am and there was a small child on the floor and paramedics were giving her CPR.
