The National Assembly complex is currently witnessing pandemonium as men of the Nigeria Police and the Department of State Security Service, this morning stopped the Speaker of the House of Representatives from entering the Assembly Complex.
Mr. Tambuwal was however, forcibly taken into the complex by angry lawmakers who protested the treatment meted out to the Speaker.
Several lawmakers were delayed at the gate for more than an hour while the confusion lasted, including the Senate president, David Mark.
According to a source who spoke to DAILY POST at the National Assembly, the confusion on ground is unbearable. “There is confusion everywhere; people are running helter skelter. Nobody really knows what to do or what the intent is. Journalists had their equipments smashed. It is a terrible situation”.
In a tweet, a former member of the House of Representatives, Dino Melaye said “Speaker walked from second gate to White House. Members broke the second gate, overpower police and brought the speaker in. Tambuwal tear gassed inside NASS”.
It will be recalled that the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party and the presidency have been calling for the sack of the Speaker since he dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress, APC, while his security details have since been removed.
The Speaker had on Tuesday sent out a recall notice to members for a Special Plenary to discuss President Goodluck Jonathan’s request for the extension of emergency rule in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe.

In all things, that has trouble with meaning and that has date, movement and reason always follows certain progression. And for this purpose the Nigeria tragedy fall within this illustrated category for which we can not elude the happening nor wish it away.
It is our ‘dada’ that we must one day again face, we can avoid it the first was never prepared for nor has a fruit authentic. So, for this reason we all burn ourselves. The contrary of this tIME.
