Vanity upon Vanity.
It was in Ecclesiastes 2:11, where the act of vanity was broken down for us mere mortals to understand and appreciate.
It says; “Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all [was] vanity and vexation of spirit, and [there was] no profit under the sun.”
Ecclesiastes 1:2 went on to say “Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.”
How about 1 Timothy 6:7. Read what it says;
“After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it.”
Yet, this unnamed billionaire, for reasons best known has chosen to gate crash his next destination with the beloved hummer jeep.
It tells you a lot about the mindset of Nigerians. I always try to squeeze some positive out of an extreme mind-blowing act perpetrated by mankind, especially if they happened to originate from Nigeria.
My positive spin to this is that, with such a determined mindset Nigerians project, anyone can achieve what it sets its mind to. Unfortunately in Nigeria, this staunch mindset has always been focussed on the wrong projects.
My only concern though is for the Hummer jeep. I hope the billionaire left enough security budget to keep it in check till Jesus tarries.
It cannot be true. It must be Nollywood fantasy. Look at the the depth of the ‘grave’ .
I tend to agree with you.
