  1. Jide, was there free flow of traffic the days APC was holding its congress in Lagos and when the Party was holding his party primary? Why is it now attracting special comment from you or you too have join them. I’m waiting and reserving my comment till the time Buhari will come for the same purpose in Lagos and see your reaction that day.

    • lol….Yemi, no mischief intended. It was purely to inform readers that Mr Presido would be in town. Of course, there would be disruption of traffic when Buhari is in Lagos for his campaign. How about taking this opportunity to highlight this primitive idea of shutting down roads for a leader voted in to serve the people. Digressing a tiny winy bit, I remember when the then President Clinton breezed into town. His entourage drove to whitehall, to see Tony Blair at Downing street. Believe me when I inform you that a lane was dedicated to the convoy with the police on just a couple of motorcycles, one ahead and another behind the convoy controlling the single lane, while traffic was flowing on the other lane. It was a behold to observe. The traffic holdup was minimal and un oppressive. It was a sheer delight to observe. So, it can be achieved.

      • Stop comparing Nigeria with advance countries like Britain and America where her people are enligthened, civilized, follow simple instructions and obey traffic rules. You know how all of us behave on the roads when driving, how we respect ourselves and even obey common road traffic signs. Even with the road being closed by the President’s and Governors’ entourage, stubborn drivers still break the protocol and caused accidents. I’m a realist not idealist.
