I have posed the question to gauge the mood of readers. The alleged rigging of Ekiti State Gubernatorial elections by Ayo Fayose to defeat Dr kayode Fayemi ought to shake this nation to its kneels. I am yet to read a rebuttal by Ayo Fayose, the candidate adjudged to have defeated the then incumbent Governor Kayode Fayemi and Opeyemi Bamidele, the aspirant who represented Labour party.

Should the office of the Presidency have made an official statement, or is the onus on the alleged culprits?

When will the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP come out with an official statement?

Should Captain Sagir Koli be regarded as a hero or villain?

And the reasons why I have asked this question is to gauge the stage Nigeria is at with regards whistle blowers.

The reaction of the public will go a long way to either encourage or discourage whistle blowing in Nigeria. 

If this very serious accusation is not adequately dealt with and swept under the carpet, it will send wrong signals to the few patriotic Nigerians at the forefront of leadership.

So I ask again, should CAPTAIN SAGIR KOLI be treated as a HERO or a VILLAIN?
