Zlatan Ibrahimovic was already one of our favourite footballers, but the Paris Saint Germain striker has secured a place in our hearts thanks to this amazing act of kindness.
The legendary striker was asked to sign a football shirt recently in order to raise funds to send the Swedish disabled soccer team to the World Cup.
Senior officials had struggled to raise the £30,000 needed for the trip and hoped Zlatan would be kind enough to sign the shirt for them to raffle off.
But he went one step further.
He reportedly told the team’s organisers: ‘What the hell are going to do with a jersey? Tell me how much does it cost to go?’

Ibrahimovic was told the amount and he swiftly grabbed the team’s bank details – so he could transfer over the whole £30,000 they needed. What a guy.
The story has been confirmed by the Swedish media, with Zlatan telling them that he would have ‘done everything in my power’ to get the team to the tournament.
